REASON FOR THE RECALL:
Ventura Foods LLC has initiated a voluntary recall on certain varieties of Dean's Dips. This action is being taken voluntarily in conjunction with the FDA notice of contamination of a flavor enhancer which is present in Dean's Taco Dip. In an effort to be as cautious as possible, Ventura Foods LLC is recalling the additional 3 items above produced at the same time. There have been no illnesses reported at this time.

The McCormick Flavor Group TX has initiated a voluntary recall on Spartan Brand Gravy and Beef Stew mixes. This recall has been initiated due to ingredients sourced from Basic Flavors, Inc. that has the potential of being contaminated with Salmonella. There have been no illnesses reported in association with this recall.
